Dark anime, maybe it’s the most suitable genre for this Anime, from the story, character and even some gore and violence scene that you'll meet in the first ten minute. Actually I don’t expect such a great story from this anime by chance I came across the first episode. I finish the entire episode just in one sit. “What the fuck is that?” it’s my reaction from the first scene, but after finish 13 episodes I found it's very beautiful, maybe I can said it better than most anime, but it’s not the best anime I’ve ever seen. It involve almost every human emotion ; Love, hate, anger, betrayal, vengeance, loneliness and happiness.
Lucy is a diclonius, a two horned mutant which has an incredibly strong invincible hand that can rip body and head apart, the worst part is it can destroy human kind. Nyu is Lucy alter-ego who found by a young man Kouta and his cousin Yuka. That is the start…….. Okay I don’t want to spoiling the anime.
Although the story is beautiful and touching, the character and dialog is the bad part, yeah!! the dialog just like an ordinary drama, and the character is weak, almost every character seems like desperately need love. But fotunately it’s helped by the story.
Talk about the moral of the story, there’s no human that born to become an evil, it’ the way the people and society treat them that can make them evil, for example: children bullying at school it can make their character became aggressive. This anime reminds me the quote from OLDBOY : “Even I’m worst than even a beast, don’t I have the right to life”.
